About this Safari

Safari Includes: 9 Nights Camping with Mattress. Tent Size  - 2.4m X 2.4m X 1.9m Dome tents.  3 Nights in Hotel/Chalet accommodation.

All meals when camping. Namibia and Botswana Park Fees, 2 Day Mokoro Excursion, Game Drives and Walks.

Transfers in Windhoek are included on Day 1 and on Day 13 in Livingstone.

Safari Excludes: Sleeping bag, Pillow, Flights, Airport taxes, Visa costs, Drinks, Mineral Water. Gratuities and personal expenses.  When in Livingstone/Victoria Falls excursions and entrance fees.

Day By Day Itinerary (Subject to local conditions)

Day 1:  Windhoek
Windhoek, with it’s lingering heritage of German architecture, activities and atmosphere.  This day is spent at your own leisure.  Hotel Safari (No meals)

Day 2 & 3: Namib Desert - Sesriem
We travel south to the heart of the Namib Desert.  The afternoon/morning is enjoyed hiking through the Sesriem Canyon and the dunes of Soussusvlei and Deadvlei.

Day 4 : Swakopmund    
Swakopmund, is the principal coastal resort of Namibia.  Time is spent at own Leisure.  Overnight accommodation in Chalets (Breakfast & Lunch only)

Day  5 : Windhoek
Depart Swakopmund after lunch and arrive in Windhoek.  Spend overnight at a traditional Oshiwambo project with optional traditional dinner.  Accommodation in Bungalows.  (Breakfast & Lunch only dinner optional at own expense)

Day 6: Ghanzi – Bushman Walk
Drive to Botswana and set up camp at a Bushman Village in the Kalahari. Standard Mobile Safari (All meals)

Day 7: Maun
Continuing overland we are welcomed in Maun by our Botswana guide, and transferred to our camp near Maun.  The evening is spent relaxing around the camp fire.  Standard Mobile Safari  (All meals)

Day 8 & 9: Mokoro Excursion    
We head into the Okavango Delta on a mokoro excursion.  Our afternoon and morning is enjoyed exploring the waterways via mokoro and the islands on foot.  The evening is spent camping on one of the islands under the stars.  Standard Mobile Safari  (All meals)

Day 10: Khwai
After breakfast, we move our camp to the Khwai flood plains, and continue to explore the ever-changing scenery on early morning and late afternoon game drives with our guide.  Standard Mobile Safari  (All Meals)
 
Day 11: Savute
Continuing overland through the National Parks we visit the dry Savute Marsh and Savute channel, famous for its abundance of large predators.  Standard Mobile Safari (All meals)

Day 12: Chobe
We make our way into Chobe, which is famous for its beautiful scenery and magnificent sunsets, with the largest elephant population in Africa.  We can enjoy these on our game drives.  Standard Mobile Safari (All meals)

Day 13: Livingstone / Victoria Falls
Our safari culminates at Livingstone / Victoria Falls after breakfast – without a doubt one of the most unforgettable spectacles in Africa.  Spend this time at your own leisure and enjoy the many optional activities on offer (at your own expense). (Breakfast)
