Terms And Conditions

Airline Tickets

Payment
All contract fare airline tickets booked with TravelSpark must be paid in full within 72hrs of making a reservation. A money order or cashiers check is our preferred form of payment. We also accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express cards. A signed copy of our credit card authorization form along with legible copies of your passport and the front and back of your credit card is required for credit card transactions. No third party credit cards will be accepted.

Cancellation Penalties
Most of our contract fare airline tickets carry high cancellation and change penalties. In most cases the minimum cancellation and change penalty is $250 per person with some tickets being non refundable and non changeable. The cancellation and change penalties for each specific reservation will accompany the fare quote e-mail we send each client. Please pay particular attention to these penalties.

Land Packages - Tours and Safaris

Payment
We require a 30% deposit for all Tour and Safari bookings made more than 90 days in advance of the departure date. For bookings made inside 90 days full payment is required at time of booking. We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express cards. A signed copy of our credit card authorization form along with legible copies of your passport and front and back of your credit card is required for credit card transactions. No third party credit cards will be accepted.

Cancellation Penalties

Up to 45 Days before departure - cancellation penalty of 30% of the total tour cost.

44 - 31 Days - cancellation penalty of 50% of the total tour cost.

Less than 30 days - No Refund.

TravelSpark strongly recommends that you purchase Travel Cancellation Insurance.

Unused Services
No refunds will be made for unused services once travel arrangements have commenced. If a traveler makes any changes to any portion of the vacation after they have departed, such changes will be completely at the travelers own expense. 

Cancellation by Supplier

If one of TravelSpark Inc. suppliers cancels a tour, an alternate tour will be suggested. If that tour is unacceptable, TravelSpark Inc. will refund all monies paid to TravelSpark Inc. by the traveler. Travelers agree that refund of amounts paid to TravelSpark Inc. shall be the exclusive remedy in the event of cancellation of a tour; no other or additional damages shall be recoverable.

Disclaimer of Liability

TravelSpark Inc. act only as agents for the supplier of the arrangements and tour services and assume no responsibility or liability in connection with any service which may be used wholly or in part in the operation of tours. Furthermore they assume no responsibility nor liability in connection with the service of any train, vessel, carriage, aircraft, motor or other conveyances which may be used, either wholly or in part, in the performance of its duty to the passenger; neither will it be responsible for any act, error, or omission, or any injury, loss, accident, delay or irregularity which may be occasioned by reason of any defect in any vehicle or through the neglect or default of any company or person engaged in conveying the passenger; or for any hotel proprietor, or hotel service, or for any other person engaged in carrying out the purpose for which tickets or coupons are issued. Travelers agree to look solely to the actual suppliers of the services for any remedy in the event of any loss, damage, injury or claim. 

Force Majeure 

TravelSpark Inc. is not liable for any claims, losses, damages, costs, expenses, delays or loss of enjoyment, of any nature or kind whatsoever, resulting from events beyond TravelSpark Inc. or a supplier€™s reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, strikes, lockouts or other labor disputes or disruptions, wars, blockades, insurrections, riots, earthquakes, weather conditions, floods or acts or restraints imposed by government authorities.

Assumption of Risk

Please note that safaris and tours in the African wilderness necessarily involve risk, including the risk of accident, property damage, personal injury and even death from, among other things, wild animals. You agree to assume all of the risks and to waive any and all such claims against TravelSpark Inc. This release of Liability and Assumption of Risk agreement is entered into on behalf of all members of your family including minors accompanying you. This agreement is binding on your heirs, legal representatives and assigns.

Passport and Health Requirements

Travelers should check with the consulates and/or their local health authority for the latest health requirements  It is the sole responsibility of the traveler to find inoculation or health requirements for the countries visited. It is also the traveler’s responsibility to have a valid passport and the necessary visas for the countries being visited. TravelSpark Inc. accepts no responsibility if travelers do not have the correct documentation for their vacation. Additionally travelers are advised to contact the U.S. Department of State to obtain current advisory information pertaining to destinations.
